What an experience to be coming to the final stages of first semester. I have learnt quite a lot. Been introduced to a variety of experiences and knowledge to help me flourish in my new chosen career path. My team members have been really positive to work with and helped me look at different perspectives and views. I have been working with some brilliant minds and this has given me some pretty good ideas to work with at a future date.
I have been introduced to some inspirational people who have a great outlook in life and are not scared to try something new. I was really impressed with presentations by both Leah Callon-Butler and Albert Ong and the drive they have to succeed. This was inspirational and gave me a greater desire to continue on this path and helped me realise I am choosing the right path.
Alex, Dante, Sophie and Charlie have been the best team mates I could ever ask for. We all had our strengths and weaknesses and used these to get the most out of our learning. I hope to work with this group a lot more throughout the course.
I have had an emotional rollercoaster in regards to my beliefs and views towards issues with future cities. I felt like pulling my hair out at times as I can see that improvements can be made everywhere. Doing the 2nd assignment brought to my attention the amount of waste that is present within society and how organisations are struggling to deal with future population issues. By minimising waste we can reduce this fear of being under resourced for growth and focus on applying world changing technologies to benefit the environment.
